IPNANZ is pleased to welcome a new staff member!

On Monday 26 May Pepe Sapolu-Reweti, began work with us as the IPNANZ National Pacific Manager. We had a very special powhiri under the korowai of Ngati Whatua.

Pepe is well known to many in the injury prevention sector through her work with Safekids New Zealand.

Pepe, Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!

Pepe is New Zealand born Samoan from the villages of Faatoia and Vaiala.

She was brought up in Auckland and joins the IPNANZ team after four and a half years with Safekids New Zealand. She has extensive experience as a teacher, social worker and injury prevention advisor. All her key work has involved working with Pacific, Māori and Refugee communities.

Pepe is married to Otene and they have three children; Maruata, Talalelei, Amalia and a beautiful grandson Maea.
